BACKGROUND

​

Solent Haven Glamping is part of Woodland Champions Club.  By booking and staying on the Woodland Champions Club site or using it’s facilities you agree to become a member of Woodland Champions Club and have your details shared. There is no fee for glamping membership and your details may be shared by Woodland Champions Club for the purposes of the running of the Club.  As part of this community, we are proud to adhere to The Countryside Code and The Seashore Code and we expect our guests to adhere to the same.

SOLENT HAVEN GLAMPING HOUSE RULES:

​

  1. SMOKING is NOT allowed. 

  2. VISITORS/UNREGISTERED GUESTS:  ONLY the pre-booked guests specified on your original reservation are permitted to stay in the property. Under no circumstances can additional guests/visitors stay in the property without our prior written confirmation. If you wish to add visitors/extra guests/infants you must contact us beforehand (no exceptions) and we will do our best to help.

  3. Please be aware that additional guests may be subject to additional fees (this includes infants). Please be aware that failure to comply with this may result in the immediate termination of your stay without refund.

  4. This Glamping Site is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

  5. NEIGHBOURS: you are staying in a private home in a village with neighbours very close by. We ask that you please respect them and the local community and avoid causing any disturbances. Thank you.

  6. NOISE: Please consider the neighbours, especially at night - no noise after 11pm.

  7. PARTIES/EVENTS: As a polite reminder, no parties or events of any kind are permitted.

  8. DOGS: There are strict house rules for guests staying with pre-approved dogs - see Pet Rules section below.

  9. INTERNET USE: Please ensure that no illegal or Copyright content is downloaded, copied, streamed, viewed at any time during your stay. You will be fully responsible for any/all infringements and any resulting legal action/fines incurred.

  10. EATING/DRINKING IN BEDROOM: we kindly request that you do not drink and/or eat in any of the bedrooms.

  11. DAMAGES: We know that accidents happen, so, we kindly ask that you let us know if something gets broken, damaged or stained during your stay so we can have the opportunity to fix, clean or replace it before our next guests arrive. This includes food dropped onto the sofa - we kindly request that you please take care if eating on your lap on the sofa. If you accidentally drop food please clean it up immediately. Please don’t leave it to stain the fabric as this makes it difficult to clean for our next guests You would not believe how much trouble people go to to conceal their accidents...it’s so much easier to just let us know! Thank you.

  12. PARKING:  Parking is limited to 1 vehicle.  Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.  Parking on the road is not permitted as there needs to be enough space for emergency vehicles.  Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

  13. HOUSEKEEPING:  There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit.  We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the Glamping Unit.

  14. LAUNDRY:  There is no laundry facilities on the premises.  We have provided a clothes line if you would like hand wash items.

  

PET RULES FOR SOLENT HAVEN GLAMPING

IF YOU BRING A DOG YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING THE FOLLOWING:

You must notify Jo Wigley-Baldwin in advance before bringing a dog. We usually only accept ONE dog ONLY (but if you contact us and are honest and respectful, we will consider TWO).  We do not allow cats, birds or reptiles.

Do not use the home as a kennel, and do NOT leave your pet unattended at any time!

In an effort to try and ensure we can continue to rent this property to guests with doggie members of their family, we have outlined below the rules that apply to dogs staying with us. Please take a minute to read these so that you and your beloved pet have a lovely stay:

 

  • Only pre-booked/authorised dogs are allowed anywhere on the property at any time - both inside and out.

  • If your dog is dirty, wet or covered with snow, please wipe it off before it enters the Unit. We have older color towels specially for “dogs”

  • Bathing or washing your dog in the shower or sink is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

  • Please walk your dog when nature calls. Do not leave piles of poop. Clean up your dog’s messes and dispose of them properly. Do not allow your dog to trample landscaping or to use neighbour’s yard as a litter box!

  • If an accident happens, please notify us immediately so we can have the necessary cleaning done by a professional.

  • Pets are NOT allowed on furniture or beds at any time.  Any evidence of pets on furniture and beds may incur extra cleaning fees.

  • You must clean up after your dog both inside and out and all dog mess must be securely/safely bagged and placed in the large green wheelie bin outside.

  • Your dog(s) must never be left in the property unaccompanied - no exceptions.

  • Your dog(s) must be kept under control and any barking or anti-social behaviour must be managed and kept to a minimum at all times.

  • If your dog causes any damage to the property, you must notify us immediately - you will be responsible for paying for any damages.

  • If we receive any complaints from neighbours about your animal’s behaviour whilst staying at the property, this may result in us asking you to leave immediately.

  • Please be aware that failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate termination of your stay without refund.

  • Owner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises

CHECKING OUT

Your checkout is 11:00am, this checkout must be honoured as we may have another guest checking in and we will need to clean and inspect the unit upon your departure to ensure that it is ready for our next arrival.

Please return the key to the lock box.   Thanks.

CHECK OUT PROCEDURES

  • Please leave the ashes in the BBQ; the housekeeping staff will dispose of them appropriately!!!  DO NOT place the ashes from the BBQ in the garbage can or paper bags.

  • PLEASE ONLY strip beds that were used and place used sheets in a pile.  Used towels in a separate pile please.

  • Please wash your last set of dishes, and clean perishables out of the refrigerator.

  • Bag up your rubbish and place it in the Recycling, Glass Box & general rubbish near the Airstream & entrance gate.  NO FOOD WASTE IN THE RECYCLE BIN

  • Please leave the Glamping unit in a tidy manner.  There will be additional charges if any out-of-the ordinary cleaning is required.

  • There will be an extra charge if furniture is moved and not returned to its proper place.

  • PLEASE check to make sure that no personal items have been left behind.  We are not responsible for lost or forgotten items.

  • Please let us know if anything is broken or damaged or stained before you leave.

  • Please lock all doors and windows and return the keys to the lock box.
